Subject: No flying Sunday 8th June
The weather looks a bit shakey for soaring this weekend. Saturday will be our only soaring day this weekend. My part time job, flying a King Air 200 is keeping me busier than I expected. A 3 day trip starting Sunday afternoon requires my presence. We are manning 2 King Air 200s at the moment and do not have enough crews. One of the airplanes is for sale and when it gets sold this should slow down.
The weather for the past month has been unusual. Someone said we had April in May. I concur. And this week the temps go roaring into the 80s as the wind shifts from the NW to the SW. Study the wind patterns and get an understanding of how local weather is effected (or is it affected?). See you at the airport.
Paving around the new hangars was delayed a couple of days due to the weather, but STAT MedEvac is at home in their temporary quarters. Steve.
