Subject: Update

We did some in house training on Saturday in the 2-22. One word windy (very windy and cold). All went well and we worked out a few kinks while getting current.

I passed my Glider Designated Examiner Knowledge Test (the writ) this AM. This is merely another step on the long journey to attaining the designation. There are no guarantees.

Concrete is being poured for the footers to support the new t-hangars. Hangars should be available in June.

Only one glider will be available the first few weekends in May. The schedule is nearly full now. If you want to fly, sign up.

I'm off to the Hawker Beechcraft factory in Wichita for a week of training before we pick up the new airplane. More in house glider training on the 26th.

Remember, we are setting the altimeter to field elevation prior to launch. That means 2200" MSL (800' AGL) over the Super 8 Motel.

Jim Martin, from the Cleveland Soaring Club passed his writ with a terriffic 93 score. I'm not that good, he studied really hard. Congrats Jim!

See you at the airport. Steve.
