Subject: Another writ passed and update

Ed Weisgerber passed his written exam last week after attending a couple of our classes and a one day intensive course in Washington D.C. He had a very good score of 92. Congrats, Ed!

Recovering of the 1-26 tailfeathers continues. New fabric is on and several coats of sealant have been applied. Reinforcing tapes are on and rivets installed. Another week or so and painting will begin.

I attended a 3 day recurrent training course for the King Air 200 which I am flying part time for a local company. Each day was 3 hours of classroom and 3 hours of simulator training. Even though I have several thousand hours flying and instructing in this high performance, twin engine, turboprop airplane I found lots of challenges in the classroom and the cockpit. When we get started flying again all of us will need a freshening up on procedures. Your book review should start now!

Poor weather has delayed hangar construction. We will have a new tenant on the airport this summer. STAT MEDEVAC will base a helicopter and crew at the airport 24 hours a day. Now get those books open. Do you know the launch signals?
