Subject: Update
The 1-26 wings are completely stripped and we start on the fuselage next. This is not a small glider when you are removing paint down to bare metal.
Ground school has passed the 1/2 way mark. All are welcome to join us if you want to get your head back into the academics before the new season. Sundays from 1 till we're done.
This year we are going to change procedures and set our altimeters to field elevation/local barometric pressure in the Kollsman window prior to launch.
A week of skiing in Denver in wonderful conditions, but I had altitude sickness all the time I was above 5000' MSL. All future snow adventures now will occur east of the Mississippi for me. A man's got to know his limitations. Steve.
