Subject: update
First session of ground school yesterday. We covered glider and airport familarization including flight controls, CG, aspect ratio, tow hooks, flight manual, AROW, MELs, critical airspeeds, stall/spin recovery, use of checklists, operating limits, airport procedures at controlled and uncontrolled airports, runway/taxiway markings, segmented circle, wind indicators, traffic patterns collision avoidance, wake turbulence and wing tip vortices. Review this list to freshen yourself up on these items. Steve.
